Our Teleradiology Services

At Telemed Providers we have extensive experience in the field of Teleradiology and DICOM standards. Through our affiliations with multiple hospitals, radiology centers and Teleradiology groups in USA and Middle East as well as our radiology consultants in USA, Europe and Middle East we provide a wide range of cost-effective and highly specialized Teleradiology services including:

  1. Primary-read final interpretations: Using our PACS/RIS system, our radiologists can access the patients' images sent to us from the facility to provide full final interpretations within 6-12 hours.
  2. STAT preliminary interpretations: For STAT cases with life-threatening medical emergencies our radiologists are ready 24/7 to provide prelim reports within 15-30 minutes of receiving the patient's images with the ability to call the referring physician to discuss the case findings and also send the prelim report within that time.
  3. Second-opinion consultations: In some situations the radiological findings of the patient are complicated or may be somehow misleading and in such situation good medical practice suggests getting a second opinion on the patient's images and through our radiology consultants with subspecialty fellowships and experience in USA, Europe and ME we work hand-in-hand with the local referring physicians and radiologists offering our radiology second-opinion/over-read consultations to provide their patients with the best healthcare service.
  4. Radiology QA programs: Telemed Providers offers QA programs for radiology departments and centers throughout the Middle East provided by a group of our ABR and EBR radiology consultants who have extensive experience in radiology QA protocols and standards. Random samples of the daily cases are selected and read by experienced radiologists and QA reports are delivered to the facilities to keep monitoring their quality of service and limit the medical practice mistakes to the minimal level.
